Having a high ranking on the search engine webpages is beneficial to a business because the majority of consumers who use search engines choose the first from the first one to five recommendations of website listings on the search engine webpages and this is where a business wants and needs to be. The process of getting a website noticed by a major search engine and ranked on the search engine webpages is called search engine optimization or SEO and is a free and automatic service to all websites on the Internet no matter what business they are dealing in.
