Green travel does not mean one has to travel through the jungle in order to help Mother Nature and the earth to become a green traveler. Green travel seems to be the “in” thing right now because no one wants to leave a barren, wasteland for a planet to the next few generations of children. People are pitching in all over the world in order to reduce their carbon footprint, reduce waste by recycling and reusing items in addition to traveling green.
Several green travel companies are advertising or marketing their business with Internet news websites in order to attract the millions of people who read Internet news websites to receive their daily news and updates on how to help the planet stay green. Internet news websites are always looking for fresh content in well written and informative articles and every day there is something new and exciting in the green/eco-friendly industry.

A company that manufactures soy candles could increase their revenue by placing keyword rich articles on several different Internet news websites in order to reach more potential customers. Internet news websites are always looking for well-written and informative articles to use as filler for slow news days or simply as articles that will help their readers find new and inventive products or services that they might not have otherwise known about.
Keyword rich articles are written using keywords and keyword phrases which are the words potential customers use in the search boxes on the search engines in order to find what they need or want. Keyword rich articles are also placed on a candle stores website in order to attract the three major search engines – MSN, Yahoo!, and Google. These major search engines send out their “feelers” in order to locate the keywords and keyword phrases within the articles and then rank the websites according to a special formula. The process of placing keyword rich articles on a website for the major search engines to locate and rank for the search engine webpages is called search engine optimization and is a free and automatic service to all business’ websites on the Internet no matter what they have to offer the public. For example, every website that sells soy candles or sea glass jewelry would have a ranking on the Internet search engine websites and depending on the amount of keywords used on their website determines their place on the search engine ranking.
